Global Automotive Conference Overview
Since its inception in 2000, the Global Automotive Conference (GAC) brings together manufacturing and management professionals, government and regulatory policy makers, service providers, and educators and students who share an interest in and passion for the automotive industry. Attendees share information and views on an ever-changing industry, and are presented with opportunities to analyze and benchmark new ideas.
Presented by the Global Advanced-Leadership Center, distinguished speakers and panel discussion members possessing topical expertise, including top executives from industry OEM's, tier level suppliers, service providers, government agencies, and academia provide for a truly value-added experience. Past participants have included such notable leaders as Robert Lutz of GM, Joseph Hinrichs of Ford, and Steve St. Angelo of Toyota, and many others (see archive section for historical prospective).
Networking opportunities have been built into the conference to encourage B2B growth for minority owned and other tier level suppliers. And of course, educational and leadership activities such as plant tours, visits to area attractions, and a B2B matchmaker golf outing are essential components in a dynamic, value-packed conference geared for attendees. Come learn and develop new management and professional skills.
