Toyota and Johnson Controls Sponsor Minority Workshop


Adrienne Trimble, Manager of Toyota’s Supplier Diversity-Purchasing and Kenneth Gardner, Minority Business Development Manager at Johnson Controls are sponsoring a workshop on minority business development.
The workshop and a matchmaking event are scheduled as a part of the Seventh Annual Global Automotive Conference in Lexington, Kentucky from April 11-13, 2006. The workshop will be a case study with insight into the methods and tools used by successful suppliers to increase minority content. The matchmaking event will provide Tier-One suppliers the opportunity to meet with certified Minority Business Enterprise companies. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 12 from 2:00PM-5:00PM and the matchmaking session will take place on Tuesday, April 11 from 1:00PM – 5:00PM and Thursday, April 13 from 1:00PM – 4:00PM.
