GAC 2005 - Presentations

Over the last decade, automotive manufacturers and suppliers have realized dramatic reductions in product cost while seeing increasing gains in productivity. Suppliers and assemblers have achieved this success in part by developing strategic partnerships and improving coordinated supply chain activities. They have made tremendous improvements toward producing the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost.

But now, some feel these strategic partnerships are in jeopardy!

At each tier of the supply chain, responsibilities for production, design and development have been shifted towards suppliers -- putting in peril the survival of some suppliers as well as the long-term health of the industry.

This critical and timely issue will be among the many topics addressed at the 2005 Global Automotive Conference (GAC) to be held April 6-8, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Now in its sixth year, this unique Conference serves as a venue where global industry leaders at all levels interact with practitioners, discuss solutions to industry challenges, and review “best-practices” and emerging trends. While there are a variety of conferences targeted toward top management, none are like the GAC, which brings together executives, senior and middle management of automotive assemblers, suppliers, and service providers to discuss issues and action plans with government participants and educators from advanced learning institutions.

Come join us for this year’s conference! It’s your opportunity to meet and hear from industry leaders on critical issues of concern to us all!

The GAC is an Award Winning and recognized program by NASBITE, National Program of Excellence, and the Kentucky World Trade Center
