EXPERTISE
A 17-year veteran of the "Big 5(Ernst & Young), Rich Iler serves as the company's President/General Manager. He is responsible for the company's services to consumer product/retail, high tech/aerospace & defense and automotive accounts.

Rich has served as the engagement director on numerous projects, including those for services related to automotive tier one providers of drivetrains , fluid systems , electronics / electrical distribution systems and interior systems. Rich brings knowledge of the order to delivery processes , including collaborative product and process design as well as supply chain collaboration. Services related to the OE marketplace include: direction of numerous MRP, ERP ,product development , supply chain , and CRM engagements.

Additionally, Rich has been responsible for a number of services related to automotive marketplaces (OE and Aftermarket) including : the iStarXchange , the development of e-commerce initiatives across a group of eight Tier One automotive suppliers , and directed the North American Covisint server team, which was responsible for the connection of the Tier One automotive suppliers to the world's largest automotive exchange.


Prior to joining Ernst & Young in 1984, Rich was part of the management development program at glass and plastics packaging manufacturer Owens-Illinois, where he held various positions within the purchasing, production, inventory management and planning areas.


EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Rich is an active member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and has served on the Society's board of directors in various capacities, including chapter president. Rich is certified in inventory management, materials requirements planning, capacity management and production activity control from APICS. He is also a member of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence and the Original Equipment Suppliers Association .

Frequent speaker at various global automotive conferences (original equipment and aftermarket).

Contributor to numerous Forrester Research and Gartner Group articles on the automotive tier 1 sector as well as technology issues related to the automotive sector.

Rich holds a BSBA in production operations and procurement/materials management and an MBA in management information systems from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
